Cookie Policy
Every cookie and item of browser storage this website sets, and why. It is a short list.
Last updated 29 September 2026.
1.What this website stores in your browser
A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep. “Browser storage” does the same job without being sent to the server on every request. The iOS and Android apps keep their sign-in in the phone’s secure storage instead, and set no cookies.
2.Every cookie and storage item
| Name | Type | What it is for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
better-auth.session_token | Cookie | Keeps you signed in. HTTP-only, sent only over HTTPS, and never readable by scripts on the page. | Ends after 14 days without use, and at the latest 30 days after you signed in. |
__Host-wdig_device | Cookie | A random identifier for this browser, kept so we can tell you by email when someone signs in from a device we have not seen before. | Up to 13 months. |
better-auth.two_factor, better-auth.state, better-auth-passkey | Cookie | Short-lived cookies that carry a sign-in step across pages: your authenticator code, a Google or Apple sign-in, or a passkey prompt. They are removed as soon as the step is done. | Minutes. |
wdig_last_method | Cookie | Remembers which way you last signed in on this browser, so the sign-in page can mark it. It holds one word, such as “passkey” or “email”. | Up to 13 months. |
wdig-theme | Browser storage | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark appearance. Stored in your browser only and never sent to us. | Until you clear it or choose “system” again. |
wdig-passkey-nudge-dismissed-until | Browser storage | Remembers that you dismissed the suggestion to add a passkey, so it does not come back straight away. Stored in your browser only. | 30 days. |
3.Controlling them
You can delete or block cookies in your browser’s settings. Blocking the sign-in cookie means you cannot stay signed in, and blocking the security cookie means you may get an email about a “new device” each time you sign in.
- The appearance setting is under the moon or sun icon; choosing “system” clears it.
- Signing out ends your session and removes the sign-in cookie.
4.If this ever changes
If we ever add something that needs your consent, such as analytics, it will be off until you say yes, this list and the Privacy Policy will change first, and you will be asked. Questions: [email protected].
